City of Torrington City Hall/Full-time Utility Clerk position: The City of Torrington is accepting applications for a Utility Clerk position at City Hall. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing customer service, answering and routing phone calls, setting up new customer accounts, maintaining active customer accounts, processing monthly meter reads, preparing monthly utility bills, preparing other related bills and notices including final bills and delinquent notices, and a variety of other general office duties. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, be familiar with Microsoft Office products, and be detail oriented. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and a high school education. City of  Torrington Lincoln Community Complex/Part-time Event Staff position: The City of Torrington is accepting applications for the position of Part-time Event Staff at Lincoln Community Complex (29 hours/week). Event Staff prepare/set up for events. Tasks require a variety of physical activities including lifting and carrying moderately heavy loads, using ladders, and some cleaning/housekeeping duties.
