If you are looking for a chance to stretch your legs, you are in luck! Torrington offers many wonderful opportunities to hike, play, and picnic.
Throughout town weaves Grassroots Trail, a 1.25 mile walking path that is dotted with exercise equipment. Be sure to take a break on the Gravity Rail on your way, located along the walking path on the corner of West C and 27th Avenue.
Stop into one of our beautiful municipal parks to swing, climb, slide, and play—City Park, Grande Vista Park, Pioneer Park, Adam Walter Park, Hospital Park or Jirdon Park.
If you are in search of a more sporting location, we have tennis courts, sand volleyball, baseball/softball fields, Frisbee golf, horseshoe pits, and a skate park to practice your skills or play a quick game!
Check out the Parks link for more information on each park and their locations. If you are planning on staying the night, check out our RV Park!
